Fowl Mouths' Special Summer at The Old Nun's Head

THRILLED to be bringing our food to the Old Nuns's Head in Nunhead from Thursday, July 21. 

A brilliant pub with outside space, our menu is going to bring the best of our food crafted perfectly for the hot weather. 

Check out our new summer salad bowls - packed with either Yuzu Salmon or Kara-age Chicken, cooked rice, avocado, wakame salad and loads more. 

Or enjoy one of our Hirata buns - steamed buns packed with Sake and ginger pork belly slices, kara-age chicken or miso mushrooms and wasabi slaw. Yum. 

Our Teriyaki Chilli Wings make a return too - they were rated amongst the top five in Londonn by the Dojo App - along with our new Togarashi Fries.

Fowl Mouths at The Lido Cafe throughout April

WE'RE thrilled to announce our next pop-up...at the glorious Lido Café in Herne Hill, South East London. 

After a record-beating residency at The King & Co, we will be bringing our popular Japanese comfort food to the new venue on Thursday and Friday evenings throughout April.

Expect a menu packed with Fowl Mouths' favourites such as Teriyaki Chilli Wings and Ponzu Steak, along with some brand new delights including Miso Mushrooms with a Crispy Egg, and Hake with Shiso Brown Butter and Udon

Our first night will be  on Thursday, April 7 followed by Thursday and Friday nights throughout April. 

The independent Lido Café - crowned Best Restaurant in Herne Hill in Time Out’s Love London Awards - offers a stunning poolside location with a handpicked selection of wines and beers to accompany the food.

On Wednesday, 2 December Fowl Mouths will make our debut in Zone 1, and not just any Zone 1 but Shoreditch. 

We'll be taking over the kitchen at The Barley Mow on Curtain St, where the indomitable The Bell & Brisket have been feeding hungry hoardes with their beautiful, beautiful bagels and baps.

Our take on the classic Japanese croquettes. Soft-boiled egg encased in pumpkin with chive, red pepper. Fried with panko, served with our homemade tonkatsu sauce.

Panko-crusted tofu slices served over rice & smothered in our homemade curry.

Teriyaki Salmon

Salmon with ginger, mirin & sake

Ginger-Mirin Crispy Pork Belly

Slow-cooked pork crisped up & tossed in a ginger, garlic & sake sauce.

Kara-age Chicken

Fowl Mouths' signature Japanese fried chicken. Juicy thigh meat marinated in ginger, garlic & soy, twice-fried and served with a yuzu mayonnaise.
