Before launching Fowl Mouths I was a journalist covering politics, human interest, crime and business.
And in 10 years of award-winning journalism I also covered food issues wherever I could. I wrote a eye-opening account of a busy abattoir, investigated the shocking shortage of environmental health officers ensuring the standards of where we eat out and interviewed celebrity chefs including Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, Mark Hix as well as several Masterchef contestants.
